—————————————————————————————————

I didn't plan to go anywhere these holidays, but maybe a friend of mine and I are going to stay in one of The Netherlands' least interesting regions: Drenthe. Yeah baby!

And... I hope I will be able to finish as much lessons of my Swedish course as possible.
Right now I'm busy with the ninth lesson and... jag talar inte svenska flytande.
Let's hope I'll get better these holidays (or later on).

shiroi-kisetsu tagged me, so I had to make a 'listen to your music and answer ze questions-list'. How much fun can a human handle?

In case you do not know, these are the things you've to do:
    - Go to your music player of choice and put it on shuffle
    - Press 'play'
    - Listen and tap your feet a bit
    - Use the song titles that come up to answer each question

How does the world see me?
Sophie Zelmani - Black Day
Will I have a happy life?
Boxcar Racer - There Is  [Boxcar Racer is right: I already have a happy life.]
What do people really think of me?
America - Last Unicorn  [:blushes:]
Do people secretly lust after me?
Kiran Ahluwalia - Awara [Fickle]  [That makes me feel warm inside.]
How can I make myself happy?
Alter Ego - Rocker
What should I do with my life?
Midtown - You Should Know  [Well, tell me!]
Will I ever have children?
Switchfoot - Learning To Breathe
What is some good advice for me?
Takako Minekawa - Plash
What do I think my current theme song is?
Patea Maori Club - Ngoi Ngoi
What does everyone else think my current theme song is?
Ane Brun - This Voice
What song will play at my funeral?
Ines - Iseendale  [An Estionian, romantic song.]
What type of men/women do you like?
Vanilla Ninja - Vanad Teksad Ja Kitarr
What is my day going to be like?
Superbus - Je Reste Encore
Why am I here?
Jack Off Jill - Super Sadist  [He sent me.]
What will people remember me for?
Anne Gadegaard - Kun En Drøm Herfra
What song will I get stuck in my head tommorrow?

I am currently reading the translation of Huset vid flon: Het rode huis. It's written by Kjell Johansson, in a really extraordinary way. I like it so much!
Johansson knows how to tell the things on a poetic way without making the text seem like a poem. Johansson knows how to describe the environment in a fine, delicate and Scandinavian manner. Johansson knows how to tell all the details, without make the story boring. Johansson knows how to amuse me.
Huset vid flon is an autobiographical, Swedish novelle. It's about a boy, living in a poor suburb of Stockholm. He faces many problems, but manages to survive them.

And I still don't know what the title means... 'House next to ...'? A river, a swamp?

I think I'll read Ulvova mylläri, Fall and Englar alheimsins later on this week. Englar alheimsins seems to be very interesting.

Ze cover of the book can be seen here.
  • Mood: Sleepy
  • Listening to: Satumaa-Tango of Maija Vilkkumaa
  • Watching: Fanny och Alexander
